D&R International Appoints Director of Energy Efficiency Programs
Silver Spring, MD; February 1, 2012 —
D&R International, Ltd. appointed Marci Sanders as its new Director of Energy Efficiency Programs, effective immediately. In this new role, she leads D&R’s program teams and oversees program planning and development in support of projects for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE); the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and other public- and private-sector clients.
Ms. Sanders brings more than 15 years of experience in market development and program and project management in the energy industry. Most recently, she has led D&R’s support of DOE’s LED Lighting Facts program, which has been a ground-breaking program for the solid-state lighting industry. Before joining D&R, Ms. Sanders led the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance’s residential sector programs focused on lighting, appliances, and new homes. Previously, she served as a staffer for U.S. Representative Les AuCoin and worked in the renewable power industry for many years.
